According to a recent blog post from Socially Stacked over 40% of shoppers will begin their Holiday Shopping in November!
So, as a savvy entrepreneur and business owner the question is how do you get these shoppers to spend their money with you?!
The answer is offer shopping discounts!
Look at your inventory and institute discounts if customers buy more than a certain dollar amount so they have a reason to spend their money with you and not your competitor!
If you have an ebay store there is an awesome free tool available to you that will put discounts in place for you called Promotions Manager. With this tool you can offer dollars off, a discount and or buy 2 get 1 free order size discounts. You set the criteria for the discount and the inventory that is available for your customer to purchase to gain the savings. The seller controls the details of the offer. You can offer a variety of discounts to your shoppers within different categories in your ebay store and or you can do an offer for your entire store like buy more $200 merchandise ( and include all your inventory) for 10-20% off, $20 off etc.

So, since 40% of shoppers will start spending their money next month it’s time to get ready with great discounts to bring these customers your way so that your 4th Quarter is your best ever!

As an ecommerce entrepreneur selling on ebay do you love using Social Media and want to save time?
Hoot Suite has a great way for you to do just that!
In Chrome and Firefox install the Hoot Suite extension.
Now you have HOOTLET on your web browser.
Go to your ebay sales item ( this works whether your have an ebay store or not)
and click the twitter bird icon.
You can tweet with ebay or HOOTLET
pick HOOTLET
Once you pick HOOTLET you can choose
1- which twitter account tweets the ebay item if you have multiple accounts to pick from.
2- You can also schedule ( yes I said schedule) the tweet from Hootlet which takes only seconds!
You can install and use Hootlet whether you have a free or a paid Hootsuite account.
Using Hootlet to tweet your ebay sales items saves you time and it is very easy to do!
Now that’s something to hoot about!

Many think that to successfully sell on ebay all a seller has to do is list.
False. Well partially false, certainly an item can’t sell if it’s not listed.
And I should say that if you are selling a highly desirable item at rock bottom prices yes the item I think would sell.
However if you are like thousands of ebay sellers and you are listing your items you are facing a lot of competition.
One of the ways to stand out is to write an ebay guide related to the products you are selling.
So if you offer women’s shoes you could write a guide on how to know what shoe size your are!
If you sell winter coats, a guide on what’s the warmest coat might be a good fit.
The guide once published is not only available to ebay sellers it’s fed to other search engines so it can be picked up by Google,Yahoo,Bing etc..
To write a successful guide be sure to put your item in the guide’s title and pick the correct ebay categories to tag your guide.
If I’m selling Party Shoes I want Party Shoes in the title of my guide and I’d want to tag women’s shoes.
The tag function is at the bottom of the writing an ebay guide template.
Once published your items that are related to your ebay guide will appear at the bottom of your guide helping to increase customer traffic to your offerings.
You can write an effective guide in under 30 minutes and your items will reap the results of increased search results on the internet which can mean more SALES for you!
